Digital Solutions Director

We are looking for our next Everfueller who can develop and execute our digital strategy that allows us to scale and develop our value chains.

About the position 

This is your chance to take a huge responsibility in a flat and agile organisation, where digital solutions are an enabler for everything we do. You will make and execute our digital strategy together with a small and skilled team: our Digital Solutions department — IT and Software Development. The job is about making sure we continue to digitalise our business and that our systems work, our data is reliable, and our digital tools support daily operations and growth. 

This includes responsibility for: 

• IT operations & security (Microsoft 365, Azure, infrastructure). 
• Digitalisation of core processes (ERP, BI, data management). 
• Our own Software products (HyOps, HyTrack, Helios). 
• Digital roadmap & AI adoption as business enablers. 

You will lead a team of dedicated Everfuellers (IT, software developers, while also managing external partners where needed). You will report directly to the COO and work closely with your colleagues across Everfuel. 

Your tasks will include: 

• Leadership of Everfuel’s Software Development Team Lead and of two skilled IT workers. 
• Developing and executing Everfuel’s digital strategy. 
• Leading IT and our software team lead (internal + external developers). 
• Driving digitalisation of business processes (ERP, BI, data platforms) and optimise Everfuel’s value streams by implementing digital solutions e.g. AI or automation together with your colleagues across Everfuel 
• Ensuring compliance with Information Security within: NIS2 and other industry standards. 
• Building and maintaining vendor/partner relationships. 

Who are you? 

You are an experienced IT/digital leader with a strong technical background and the ability to set direction. You balance strategic thinking with hands-on follow-through. 

We imagine you have: 

• 7+ years’ experience in IT/digital leadership. 
• Solid background in Microsoft technologies. 
• Knowledge of ERP and BI systems. 
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity and compliance. 
• A great willingness to lead and make your employees shine 
• Abilities to work with both technical teams and business leaders, and make sure decisions actually get carried out. 
• Execellent communication skils and fluency in written and spoken English.

You enjoy working in a dynamic, scale-up environment where priorities shift, and you want to make a difference by enabling the green transition. You are able to set Everfuel’s digital direction because you understand both business and systems, and you thrive in a job where you lead others and also solve your own tasks.  

About Everfuel 

Everfuel supplies green hydrogen to larger vehicle fleets such as buses, trucks, and taxis, as well as industry. Green hydrogen is a 100% clean fuel produced from renewable energy sources and plays a key role in overcoming Europe’s climate challenges. 

We are based at the Everfuel Farm in Høgild near Herning and in Fredericia, where we have build one of Europe’s largest electrolysis plants and attractive new offices. You are expected to be present at both locations.
