Senior Business Controller with funding management skills

Join us in developing our funding management and financial reporting 
We are looking for a profile with a strong financial background who has experience working at entity and group levels. You will take part in preparing, finalizing and develop the internal as well as external reporting which is done on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. 

As Everfuel’s new business controller, you will be a part of the Finance team of 4 and report directly to the CFO. The position will be perfect for you, if you enjoy working in a dynamic and flexible organization.

Your tasks will include but not be limited to: 

• Funding and grant management: Securing funding for Everfuel’s green energy projects, including public grants and subsidies. You will act as program manager for all funding projects, ensuring that funding opportunities are maximized to drive the green transition. 
• Financial reporting: Prepare and analyze detailed financial reports, including ESG reporting, that provide valuable insights into the company's financial performance at the Group, Department, and project levels. 
• Business performance management: You will be responsible for building and driving a business performance overview in Everfuel. This includes KPI and risk management helping to forecast current and future performance. 
• Controlling and budgeting: You will function as sparring partner and advisor working closely with our CFO, project managers and department heads to ensure continuous follow-up on budgets and financial projections to ensure that they are both realistic and aligned with Everfuel’s strategy and ongoing financial forecasting.
• Trusted advisor: You act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across the organization, providing financial insights and challenges that help teams make better, more informed decisions.

Who are you? 

You have a relevant educational background, most likely a bachelor's or master's level. Moreover, you have several years of experience in controlling business management, funding management or a similar role, preferably within the energy, technology, or manufacturing sectors, where you have demonstrated experience in preparing and analyzing financial reports, working with KPIs and managing budgets.

You are positive, proactive, solutions-oriented professional with the ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and create strong working relationships.

Furthermore, you are proficient communicator in both written and spoken English. We expect you to have strong IT skills in Office365, MS Business Central/Navision, Excel and power BI.
